There was a small surprise in Manati where fourth rankedOsos (4-4) won against their close opponent Leones (3-7) 105-94 on Sunday. Manati looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. American-Italian guard Ryan Arcidiacono (190-1994, college: Villanova) stepped up and scored 18 points and 9 assists for the winners and the former international center Tyler Davis (208-1997, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). American center Isaiah Hicks (206-1994, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international power forward Jordan Murphy (200-1997, college: Minnesota) scored 16 points. Five Manati and four Ponce players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Manati maintains fourth place with 4-4 record which they share with defeated Ponce . Ponce at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Manati will meet at home Carolina (#5) in the next round. Ponce will play against Aguada and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
